How has Touching Hearts at Home of Rochester helped your family?
My sister and I wanted to do everything we could to enable our father with significant dementia to remain at home for as long as possible, which was his wish. Touching Hearts made this possible for 3 years as his dementia progressed, eventually causing him to need full time care, which Touching Hearts provided. (My sister and I live out of town.) Their caregivers were wonderful – compassionate, reliable and efficient. They made a special social connection with him. We had peace of mind knowing that my father could stay at home with the support of people who truly cared for him as a person.
